WARM Books: Boris Dežulović Presents Who Is That Man? – An Account of a Possibility

It was a pleasure to have Boris Dežulović with us throughout several days of WARM Festival 2026, taking part in the programme and spending time with festival guests, participants and friends.

As part of the WARM Books programme, Boris presented his latest book, Who Is That Man? – An Account of a Possibility (Tko je taj čovjek?: Izvještaj o jednoj mogućnosti), in conversation with Ahmed Burić at the Home of ZANAT.

The book opens difficult but necessary questions about recognising the early signs of fascism, about responsibility, and about the moment when indifference allows history to repeat itself. The discussion moved naturally between literature, journalism, history and contemporary politics, with Boris’s sharp humour never far away.

The conversation continued long after the official programme had ended, as people stayed in the ZANAT showroom to exchange thoughts, disagree, ask questions and simply enjoy being together. Those are often the moments that give a festival its real life.
