DJ WORKSHOP FOR WOMEN BRINGS NEW VOICES TO THE WARM FESTIVAL
For three days during the WARM Festival 2026, women from across Bosnia and Herzegovina took their first steps behind the DJ decks as part of the DJ / Music Workshop for Women in BiH.
Led by NOUR – DJ, activist, creative director and founder of Aswatna Studio – the workshop brought together participants with little or no previous DJ experience. Through music, mixing and hands-on practice, they explored creativity, developed new skills and gained confidence in a supportive and encouraging environment.
The workshop concluded at the WARM Festival closing party, where the participants took over the decks and shared what they had learned with the festival audience, bringing fresh energy and their own musical voices to the final night of WARM 2026.
We thank all the participants for their enthusiasm, openness and creativity, and NOUR for leading the workshop and creating a space where learning, collaboration and self-expression could flourish.
The workshop was organised as part of the Women Lead BiH initiative, supported by the UN Peacebuilding Fund, in partnership with Aswatna Studio. It was hosted by the Goethe-Institut Sarajevo.
