Movie night, “Retrograde”, Matthew Heineman, USA, 2022, Meeting Point cinema 20:00h

Tuesday 11th (memory day)

WARM Academy day 2

“ART WAR”, a collective exhibition of contemporary art on war and memory curated by Lejla Hodžić and Slaven Tolj, Red Cross Building 17:00h

“W(AI)RM, a snapshot”, a collective exhibition of images of “survivors memories” made using AI, by students of Sarajevo’s Academy of performing arts, Red Cross Building, 18:00h

Movie night, “Ya i Felix”, Iryna Tsilyk, Ukraine, 2022, Meeting Point cinema, 20:00h

(transportation to Srebrenica will be organised for guests who want to attend the Genocide anniversary)

Wednesday 12th

WARM Academy day 3

“Havar, Our Banished Children”, a movie about the children born out of rapes of Yazidi women in Iraq kidnapped by ISIS, followed by a conference on “how to report” on such a sensitive topic, moderated by Pascale Bourgaux (film’s director), guest Ajna Jusic (the president of the Association “Forgotten Children of War”) and others. Meeting Point cinema, 13:00h

“The War Zone Drawings”, the exhibition of drawings of Ghaith Abdul Ahad together with presentation of his new book “A Stranger in Your Own City”, moderated by Boro Kontic, in partnership with Mediacentar Sarajevo. Smoje Galerija, 18:00h

Movie night, “Everything Will Be OK”, by Rithy Pahn, Cambodia, 2022, Meeting Point cinema, 20:00h

Thursday 13th

WARM Academy day 4

“The moment I knew the peace started ”, editors Ana Pejovic and Vladimir Arsenic, book promotion. In partnership with ForumZFD, a collection of short stories by regional authors will be premiered during the WARM festival, followed by a discussion with authors and editors. Meeting Point cinema, 13:00h

“Be Our Voice”, theatrical performance directed by Ajla Besic about recent protest against violation of human rights in Iran, in partnership with Crvena, French embassy and UN Women, SARTR, 17:00h, followed by an exhibition of images and posters from protests by citizen journalists and activists at Galerija Manifesto, 19:00h

Movie night, “Transition”, by and , Australia, 2023, Meeting Point cinema, 20:00h

Friday 14th

WARM Academy last day

“UKRAINE:FRONTLINE”, a panel discussion on reporting on Ukraine, moderated by Jasna Jelisic, guests Carlotta Gall (The New York Times), Remy Ourdan (Le Monde), Edward Kaprov (freelance), Valerie Hopkins (The New York Times) and Oleksandra Matviichuk (2022 Nobel Peace Laureate), in partnership with the EU delegation to Bosnia. A tribute to Arman Soldin, a Bosnian journalist killed in Ukraine, will be held before the panel, Meeting Point cinema, 11:00h

Bucha and Sarajevo: Witnesses of Existence,  a panel discussion on two cities symbols of war and destruction with Mykhailyna Skoryk-Shkarivska, Deputy Mayor of Bucha and Srđan Mandić, Municipality Centar Sarajevo, moderated by curator Lejla Hodžić, Red Cross Building 15:00h

“SAWASAWATO”, outdoor exhibition of images from North Korea, by Noriko Hayashi, in collaboration with Sarajevo Photo Festival and Kultura na ulice! 2023, plateau of the National Theatre, 18:30h

“Wet Plate:Frontlines”, a workshop of wet plate photography by Edward Kaprov, Abdulmonam Eassa, Edouard Elias and Drago Vejnovic, in partnership with the Academy of Fine Arts, History Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 9:00h

“A Personal War”, an exhibition of photographs from Ukraine by Edward Kaprov, in partnership with the Bayeux Normandy Calvados Award, Academy of Fine Arts, 17:00h

Docu Night, UKRAINE:FRONTLINE:PHOTO, a slideshow of frontline photos from Ukraine edited by Enric Marti, in partnership with the Bayeux Normandy Calvados Awards followed by screening of three short documentary films and a discussion with authors Nicole Tung, Vlada Liberova and Raul Gallego Abellan, (Point of No Return – Taking up arms in Palestine or choosing a peaceful resistance), Meeting Point cinema, 20:00h
