Maeva Bambuck

Journalist

After spending a year with France-Amerique, a weekly French-language newspaper printed in NYC, I learned the ins and outs of TV in the London bureau of ABC News, first as a desk assistant and then as an assignment editor (2006-2010) sending senior correspondents to places I couldn’t wait to report on myself. I moved to Haiti as a freelance video journalist to cover the cholera epidemic, reconstruction and elections for AFPTV, Le Figaro, France 24 (2010- 2011). I moved to Islamabad for France 24 as their main AF-PAK correspondent (2012) then moved to Kabul on my own. I work mostly for CCTV and Le Figaro, and learn Dari in my spare time.
