Giles Clarke is a photojournalist based in New York City and focusing on capturing the human face of current and post- conflict issues throughout the world. Clarke began his photography career as a professional black and white printer in London and New York. During the mid 1990’s, he worked in the Richard Avedon darkroom in New York on some now-iconic fashion campaigns. Since 2017, Clarke has made four trips to Yemen and will exhibit ‘Yemen: Conflict + Chaos’ at Visa Pour L’Image in Perpignan 2021. Clarke is represented for syndication by Getty Images Reportage.
