Journalist

Anne Poiret is a journalist, author, and Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker. In Iraq, South Sudan, Ukraine, and Cambodia, her films have deciphered the human and political consequences of armed conflicts and the actions of the United  Nations and NGOs. Her films include How to Build a Country from Scratch: Creating South Sudan (OP-DOC/NEW YORK TIMES), Welcome to Refugeestan (ARTE), and Mosul After the War (ARTE).  Global Spyware Scandal: Exposing Pegasus (FRONTLINE / PBS) won the 2024 Emmy Award for Outstanding Investigative Documentary, and Iraq’s Lost Generation (FRANCE TELEVISIONS) won the 2022 International Emmy Award for Best Documentary. She founded AFTER WAR in September 2023.
