Journalist since 1990, professional since 1992. She reported from the war in Bosnia and Kosovo.
Her focus was and still is on human rights, especially in region of former Yugoslavia. In the post-war period, this expanded to inclusion of war victims, refugees and other marginalized social groups, and strategies for their integration and social development in societies they choose; additionally, focus was and still is on post-conflict reconciliation and transitional justice.
She was simultaneously engaged in activism through cooperation with numerous non-governmental and international organizations. The most important was and it is the close cooperation with the Humanitarian Law Center in Serbia.
Today, she is a researcher in the field of human rights violations, as well as an analyst and consultant regarding political and social issues in the South-East European region. Since 2017, she has been founder of the non-governmental organization Kardan – Memory Culture through Art, Media and Humanities.
