A photo exhibition
In partnership with Kultura na ulice 2025!
Curated and designed by Lejla Hodžić
Displayed at 15 locations across Sarajevo
This city-wide exhibition presents the work of award-winning Palestinian photographer Laura Boushnak, whose lens captures powerful stories from across the Arab world. Drawing on both personal projects and editorial assignments, the photographs reflect Boushnak’s unique perspective as someone born and raised in a Palestinian refugee family.
The selection spans multiple countries and themes, offering a deeply human and visually striking view of a region marked by resilience, resistance, and profound change. Displayed in public spaces across Sarajevo, the exhibition invites viewers to engage with these narratives in the rhythm of daily life.
A special Talk and Walk with the Author will take place in front of the National Theatre at 7PM, offering an opportunity to hear directly from Boushnak about the stories behind the images and her personal and professional journey through the Arab world.
This project is part of the Kultura na ulice 2025! initiative and the WARM Festival 2025 program.
