WARM Frontlines

WARM Festival 2025 presents:

The European House of Culture and National Minorities – 6PM, Artist Talk and Walk-Through included

WARM Frontlines is a new collective exhibition curated and designed by the WARM team, presenting photographic and documentary work from multiple conflict zones around the world. This edition brings together both established and emerging authors, whose work sheds light on underrepresented stories, forgotten geographies, and ongoing struggles that continue outside the spotlight.

This exhibition marks the first in a new WARM series dedicated to frontline authors and the realities they document—those that too often go unrecorded or unheard.

Featured works in this first edition come from Armenia, Moldova and Transnistria, China’s Xinjiang region, and beyond. Through deeply personal, politically sharp, or formally experimental approaches, the artists explore themes of occupation, censorship, migration, memory, and resistance.

Participating authors:
Will Baxter, Pierre Crom, Alexandra Rose Howland, Lilit Danielyan, and Joanna Zielińska-Öktem
