Jean Rolin

Writer, Reporter

Jean Rolin is a writer and reporter, born in 1949 in Paris, France. As a writer, he won the prix Medicis in 1996 for a novel, L’Organisation, and, as a reporter, he won the Albert Londres award in 1988. He was involved in various activities with Obala Art Center and Centre André Malraux in Sarajevo since 1993. His main interests, as reflected in a number of books and stories, are Northern Ireland, the Balkans, the Middle East, Africa, harbours and shipping, maritime routes, destitute suburbs, wildlife and feral dogs.
