WARM in Belgrade, Past and Future

In March 2026, WARM organised a series of events in Belgrade, working with several local organisations to present its work, values, and future direction, while also connecting with potential new partners in Serbia. The central gathering took place at Cafe 16, a cultural hub run by people close to WARM in both spirit and approach.

The programme was aligned with the visit of UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese to Serbia. After her appearance at WARM Festival 2025, we continued working together on a number of projects and collaborations. In Belgrade, she joined WARM’s director Damir Šagolj who presented the foundation and its work, and together they invited the audience to Sarajevo for WARM Festival 2026.

A new set of more than 50 WARM postcards, designed by Lejla Hodžić, was also presented. Each postcard reflects a project developed and shown by WARM in Sarajevo and beyond, offering a concise overview of the foundation’s work over the years.

The events in Belgrade served both as a presentation of WARM and as an open invitation to join us in Sarajevo from July 6 to 12 for the next edition of the festival.
